Meanwhile, I've been given 2 bags of mixed fruit, plus prunes, walnuts and fruit & nut mix - for FREE. Big Grin The mixed fruit is a bit old (use by 10/23) but the rest are 25 or 26.

I adore marzipan! How dare you!  Tongue  its just the scratchy stuff; coconut ice is another no go for me.
I make marzipan stuffed medjool dates (sometimes dipped in chocolate) for a Xmas treat.  I've bought a reduced Xmas pud for next year but resisted many others. I was sorely tempted by mince pies at 26p.  Unfortunately my resolutions DID include lose weight.  I'm trying to avoid the nibbles and chocs left over from the holidays and failing quite spectacularly, without buying extra. Have you noticed the Easter eggs on the shelves!
