I gave away all our Christmas decorations a few years ago and there were some that had been in the family for a similarly long time. I can't throw any decs out though, some small tree decorations are from my baby hood others are mum's. My DiL still has a few of the glass baubles from the Xmas tree present mentioned previously.  The salt dough glittery shapes that the lad and I made many years ago finally bit the dust this year, they got damp  Cry Salt dough doesn't like damp, who knew?
