If I had my choice I'd have roast lamb, but P likes tradition so I bow to turkey crown, pigs in blankets, several stuffings (I like stuffing), brussels, vichy carrots, roast parsnips and potatoes. Maybe yorkshires but there's not much room for them on the plate for them, gravy. Christmas pud and mince pies for afters. Tea, if we have room, will be asparagus rolls and smoked salmon or turkey open sandwiches and fruit salad.
A long time tradition at ours is asparagus rolls for tea. Very 60's but we like them, but sourcing tinned asparagus is getting difficult. Ocado do it but you would have to get a full order to make it viable, and I don't online shop groceries from anyone, although it's doable. The reviews on the product are dire though. Amazon do 12 tins for over £40 but I fear I may not be making asparagus rolls for the next 12 years, I may not be making anything in 12 years time.
(not sure what that emoji is bit to me it looks like an angel). I shall either have to change tradition or keep searching.
