We're at the winter solstice and everything will improve from now on (in theory!).
My thoughts are moving to what to sow/grow first - in January! Not long now.
I'll be tweaking some of the Traffic Light Veg in my first post. For example, Potatoes are coming out of the Amber group and moving into the Green and will be grown in Tubs in Zone A. They did quite well when grown like this, this year - better than when grown in the ground when they always get slugged.
The Broad beans may be downgraded to Red as, although I grew some last year, I didn't pick them - which made me realise that I'm not a fan. I think I grow them because they can be sown at a time when there's not much else to do and my fingers are itching.
I forgot about peas (apart from mangetout). I'll put those in Amber with MT in Green.
