2025 - Freecycle and similar Free stuff

Not really free cycle. But Bob got paid this afternoon with 3 venison joints for a little job he did for the big house ( not prison).

A large deer pnce got stuck on some barb wire on the spotsgound fence I worked at. By the time I got there it had thrrashed about and must have had a heart attack?  It was still wam so I rang my old boss who was a gamekeeper and we hauled it up in the garage and I helped him paunch it,and cut it up into joints.
He only wanted some of the liver for his troubles, so I filled my freezer and lived on venison for a good while. I did force a large bottle of whiskey on him fo his toubles though and once I tasted the liver I realised why he likeed it so much. Enjoy you venison SC, I certainly did!

We usually buy a couple of carcasses at a ridiculously low price each year. But we’ve missed out last couple of years due to the lack of kitchen to cut it up. Just about coped with a shoulder and 2 hunches in the caravan.
