I've been to the £5 Pantry, first time for a while. They had enormous lumps of slow roast beef (Tesco price £17 with club card) - which the Pantry were selling for £5!
Another £5 bought 2 packs of toilet rolls, Astonish kitchen cleaner, and 2 packs of Dove soap. I didn't really need any of these but my purchase helps to subsidise the rest.
The other £10 bought - 2 bags of KFC, a veggie pie, yogurts, kefir drinks, 6 eggs, Bonne Maman Peach conserve, tinned sweetcorn, carrots & peas, fresh veg - potatoes, courgettes, sprouts, tomatoes, lettuce, spring onions, basil, tangerines, bananas, blackberries (grown in neighbouring South Glamorgan!), orange juice, pop, crisps, bread & rolls and fruit scones.............and a Coconut!!.
Happy with that lot!
I would deffo have been up for the slow roast beef! Cool

The Community cafe I went to today was vey cheap, they have a  food bank there as well as other non profit stuff. They even have a little pivate gym with machines you can use for £2 a day! Smile
