I think I have mentioned this before? that Helen used to work in a cake shop. I remember they had a row of biscuit tins at the front of the counter, each one had a different type of biscuit in them and they wee sold by the pound! The very end one was a broken biscuit mix which wree a lot cheaper. She said pensioners would come in to buy the cheaper boken biscuits. Many a time the brroken biscuit tin was empty so if a pensioner came in and was dismayed, Helen used to go along the tins taking a few biscuts fom each then bashing them up a bit for them! She sold a lot of broken biscuits!
