I have too much tinned food - most of which I've been given over the years. I've decided to use up at least one tin a day.
I started with carrot & coriander soup for lunch (not my favourite but I have 4 tins of it!). Then I remembered this thread. I'm trying out one of the recipes as we speak https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/dal_makhani_30779
That's 4 tins used ( Coconut milk, tomatoes, brown lentils and red kidney beans.
I've used coconut oil (not butter) and an elephant garlic clove (not garlic puree).
All the ingredients have been FREE.
I'll be cooking some FREE basmati rice to go with it later.
