2025 - What's made you happy today?

Impulse buy today made me happy. I have a huge common rhododendron in my garden which has purple flowers. I know some people percieve rhodies as weed plants, but I disagree and mine is a home fo umpteen bird species.
I digress, what I bought today from Lidl was a white floweed rhodie. A decent size plant with flower buds intact fo six squid seemed a bargain to me!

My soil must be acidic as my rhodie and blueberries seem to thrive so hopefully my new plant will thrive also?
