I've driven past Morries, Lidl & Aldi and ignored the urge to pop in and see if there were any bargains! Even my Dentist's surgery premises is above a mini-Tesco and I usually kill time in there before my appointment, Not this time! I amazed myself.
Already, my mind is trying to tweak this £1 a day Challenge, What if I put £356 in a jar and lived on that for a year? Would it make me put more effort into making the garden feed me year round?
I have just gone into profit on the Garden Balance Sheet https://gardenandgossip.org/showthread.p...ance+sheet
How can I improve on that to supplement my £1 a day food supply? (Rhetorical question)
I'm trying to be realistic - telling myself that I haven't even managed a month yet - and I'll soon be running out of yogurt (even if I make my own, I'd need to buy a yogurt starter and milk) so something has to come out of the Kitty Jar soon. I've just finished a jar of peanut butter which is something I ran out of during lockdown. I keep a backup peanut butter now, just in case!
