The tomato plants growing in cracks on the patio have gone rampant. One has decent toms but they're all underneath the foliage, the other is nothing to write home about. My task today was to tidy the patio a bit of all the fallen Orangeto tomatoes and the crack plants. Notes to self, don't let the crevice volunteers survive and only grow on patio Orangeto, two is overkill. I couldn't just pull them out (why, I don't know) so I cleared dropped orangeto's, scavenged the usable toms from the volunteers and pruned them a bit. It took ages, I'd have been better doing a scorche earth job and digging the lot up.
