Sowing for Autumn/Winter Harvests

My main crop onions are bedford and sturon which are both good all-round onions and excellent keepers. Sheshyu keep OK for my needs as they fill the gap between finishing my stored onions and now. I think they would keep easily for 4 months, may be a bit longer but not over winter/spring.
