An unexpected visitor

"...as if it was looking for a way out.." it might have been looking to see if there were any more newts or frogs to eat.

The newts were definitely wary of it.

P was as wary as a newt too. There's something familiar about the combination of P and a Newt.

It rolls of the tongue    I agree, not that I can apply it to P he seldom drinks.  There seem to be less newts than there were, do you think this is significant?
