Having got rid of all the cucumbers from the GH (apart from the Dragon's Eggs) I sieved the old compost and mixed some chicken manure pellets into it. I lined the bottom of the empty pots with wool insulation and refilled them with the compost. I had 12 cucumbers seedlings still hanging around in the GH so I've planted them in the pots. They're not particularly good seedlings but better than nothing. I may sow a few seeds. The pots will stay outdoors now as the whitefly in the GH is still a problem.
