Headed down the garden with a tray of CFB seedlings that have been ready to plant for a week or so - but its been too hot. Today, the ground was rock hard - couldn't even get a trowel in it. Then it started to rain again so I abandoned the seedlings and returned to the house to dry off.
Spent the afternoon playing with seeds - of the lettuce and mustard varieties. Emptied all the oldest seeds into jamjars and I'll scatter these somewhere in the garden, when the rain stops in 40 days. (Thanks St Swithun).
