Hot smoked fresh salmon (works with thawed frozen salmon also). I don’t like cold smoked salmon that you get everywhere with scrambled eggs or what ever, but what I do like is that you buy a smoking board mine is applewood I think. I soak it overnight in water. Then when ready get the BBQ mighty hot, put the boards on it and they start charring, when they are generating senough smoke place your fish directly on the board and close the lid and with the heat the fish will cook and absorb some of the smoke without it being overpowering. Beauty is there is no added salt to this fish only what you add for taste with a squeeze of lemon or my preference is fora squeeze of lime.additional items of food I have to avoid though.
I have to avoid, tomatoes, fresh or tinned, bananas, pineapple, grapefruit and any smoked fish.
Tomatoes pineapple and grapefruit because of drug interaction
Banana,s because too much potassium
Smoked fish because of salt (unless dry smoked without brine)
Getting g old is such fun!
