It looks like a warty cucumber, and doesn't sound very appetising. I don't mind bitter flavours but you've got to be careful you don't over sour the dish. Would have to like it before growing it.

I grew cucamelons, one year and they weren't the best. They pickled quite well as gherkins though.
A pocket knife is not a weapon in the right hands it’s an essential garden tool.
