Greenfly

The aphids are a real pest this year. The raspberries have been clobbered and the blackcurrant tips are all curling up around colonies of ant farmed aphids, the rose buds and dahlias are covered in blackfly. I'm losing the battle.  I squish lots but it hardly makes an indentation. Any solutions?

Encourage ladybirds into your garden. Not looked into how. So can’t help. Only seen one in my garden up here in last 16 years. I find blasting the plants with the hose on jet spray (if possible) from all angles. Really helps. The plants recover quickly from a couple of minutes brutally. But the pests reduction is worth it.
