Fifty Shades of Aquilegias

I've ordered some cheap aquilegia seeds. How do I know if they need stratification. Should I module sow or choose a fee spot in the soil? Any bets on how successful I'll be? I understand they take ages to germinate. By the time they show (if they do) I'll have forgotten about them

Ah yes labels. Are those the things that go missing 30 seconds after you've written on them, or if not then, 3 days later burried in the soil?? I must research getting some
