I bought a lump of air dried uncooked Italian ham a while ago. The skin/rind was a bit too tuff for m so I gave it to Kato. Even Kato struggled a bit but after 5 minutes or so chewing he managed to soften it enough and eventually swallowed it.
Part of what was left became my breakfast. Cut very thinly it was like eating Parma ham and kept me chewing for quite a while.
For lunch I had lots of sausages & eggs with a dollop of picked cabbage on the side of plate to add a bit of acidity!
I have part cooked some breast of lamb which I will finish cooking and have later today.
