Borrrowed a brown bin the council supplies for green waste (at a cost) off my daughter and filled it with weeds and rocks which have been lying on the path next to where I weeded a bed last week. 
I had to wheel it up the bank back to her place, which doubled as part of my excercise routine for today!
Also managed to secure a quote for facia, soffit and guttering that was less than one third of previous quotes and was from a local well thought of roofer!
No panic to get it done though as the guttering has been down since the last heavy snowfall!
