Behind the barn...

Excellent video Sarriss. You know how we all love to be nosy. You have a stunning place.  What did you say you were putting on the concrete hardstanding, I couldn't make out the words?  As far as polys are concerned, I haven't a clue. P was very envious of your barn.

Aww thank you! The surroundings are almost surreal in their beauty. It's very typical grazing land for this region. I am so in love with this place

The concrete hardstanding is at the end of the barn, where all the cow muck was heaped up (the automated pulley system that drags it all out there is still intact!). It's got a huge concrete back wall that's probably five foot tall, concrete floor and two foot side walls, and no wall on the fourth end, if that makes sense. It's probably 8 meters by 6, so it's huge! I'm not sure if I describe that very well lol The afternoon sun blasts straight onto that back wall and it gets very warm as it's very protected, and it keeps warm all night, and already doesn't go frosty when everything else does. I want to build cold frames there, but might actually go wild and do something that I can walk upright in. I need it to protect my seed trays at every stage before planting out. 

I'll do a video of the barn, one of the old chicken shed that we will turn into living accommodation for visitors in the future, although that's a couple of years ahead of us I think. I've only laid one veg bed beside the pond yet, but I'll do a 360 video of that and the house too if you want
