I struck some Choisya cuttings (why do they say 'struck' when it comes to cuttings
) in the hope that they'll take. They're to replace a couple of box balls ut the front that keep getting decimated by the dreaded box moth caterpillars. I chose choisya merely because I have one to hand. An alternative might be Hypericum, not Forsythia or Buddleia because I want them bushy not tree'y. Any alternative suggestions gratefully accepted but, as usual I'm reluctant to spend money.
