The "problem" with the tinned and jarred food is that its past its use by date. Lots of people take these dates as gospel. When midnight arrives, the food turns to poison and nobody in their right mind would risk eating it. Fortunately, there's nothing right about mine.
The cause of the "problem" is partly the manufacturer
- the dates tell the stores which batch of tins should be sold first - but they don't explain that to the consumer. the consumer just chucks out them out!
