Sorry to hear of your troubles JJb, as Bren says, very easily done. My car is petrol but my motorhome is diesel. I have to be super vigilant when filling either!
Harvested a carrier bag of onions from the allotment. I must say, my plan of leaving them in the ground and harvestting as required has worked out well! They are fresh and have full roots whereas some of the ones in storgage are going mouldy! It's taken me 70 years to work this out,but they do say that every day is a learning eperience!
