Its still windy but nothing like earlier. The rain has arrived now.
Just done a quick reccy round the garden, seems to have survived apart from a "pond liner" roof that was covering a GH frame where some garden tools (including electrical ones) are stored Fortunately, it was a double layer roof and the underneath layer is mostly intact so the tools are still dry.
A bit of freestanding metalwork (was the side of a GH frame) has blown over but that's not important.
Haven't had a look at the roof at the front of the house but I can't see any loose slates on the ground.
Hope you all survive this unscathed.
