Porridge, banana & yogurtI find that Pollack fish looks and tastes very similar to Cod but is half the price!

D. Battered Fish in a sandwich made with sunflower & pumpkin seeded bread.
The Fish was from Aldi "Everyday Essentials" range - £2.50 for 4 fillets. The fish is pollack and it actually looked like fish, unlike some of the slurry that goes in some cheap fish products. It made a good sandwich and I preferred it to the battered fishfingers I've bought recently. At 62p a fillet it comes in well under my £1 a day target.
