Having seen several references to Beechgrove garden and J. McC. having watched it since it started, there have been a number of presenters with Jim McC coming over as possibly better than most but the program has always been "down to earth" pun intended, there is very little of the exotic gardening and planting of very expensive plants it features gardening at affordable prices and still has good presenters and yes I have a favourite who is Chris Beardshaw a presenter with an easy way and a lot of knowledge
