Sowed some Broad beans and field beans in modules as its Fruits week.
Then attacked the fallen wire fence with bolt cutters and snips. Of course, it had been built to keep out foxes, wolves and lions, as it was part of the chicken run, so the bottom of the wire had been buried and it was double layered, chicken wire on top of pig wire. Ivy and brambles and goodness know what had grown through it so I had to use secateurs, fork and a rake.
I removed the chicken wire in big sections, spread it out on the ground and folded it in half, then quarters and so on, stamping on each fold until I had reduced them into little parcels of wire that I can stuff in the waste bin.
To be continued, hopefully tomorrow.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
