DIY Insect hotel for ladybirds and lacewings

I never did make a ladybird hotel! However, today I found a proper red and black ladybird on the door handle - obviously wanted to come indoors so I moved her into the GH where she'll find lots of hiding places and food. Do they eat white fly?? the Duck says YES.

Just seen a post on a local FB group saying that there are swarms of ladybirds around - invading their house, on the washing etc. I feel left out now with only one lonely ladybird.
