I only have one squash plant this year, having binned my courgette "Zucchini" in case it was one of the bitter ones.
I'm growing a red kuri-type winter squash, Amoro F1, for the first time, and am really pleased with it, even if it's not suitable for seed-saving. It's incredibly compact but covered in flowers - I counted six females so far, and the bees are loving them too so I have little fear of them not being fertilised!
