My Dad, who suffered badly with asthma and chest problems, would get out of the car, take a deep breath and say "Smell that Ozone". We didn't have a clue what he was talking about, but he could always breathe more easily by the sea. If ever I feel a bit down, a trip to the sea always cheers me up.
Definitely makes me happy and has lots of memories attached to it. And lots more to be made hopefully.
I’ve been walking the dogs for the last couple of weeks. And our morning walk is always just to the end of the road to stand and watch the sea for a few minutes. It really makes for a good start to the day. And looking out at something so vast, untameable, critical, mysterious and full of life. Really puts things into perspective. When he is healthy enough to take over dog walks again. I’m going to continue my morning walk to see the sea. It really has been good for me.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.
