If you insist! Motorhome had it's inaugural trip in my possession, only about five mile from where I live. My youngest son came up in his car and we sorted out various heating modes, how the awning worked and he got the reversing camera sorted out as well,Also ascertained if the solar panels on the roof were working, which they are.
He then left as the sun set (lovely sunset and sunrise) and Kato grabbed the double bed, complete with his 'blanky' and I slept on the single bed!
After trying out the cooker and making brekkie in the morning, we went for a longish walk to a local landmark and after a cuppa headed back home.
I have often travelled with Kato in the car but I needed to ascertain he would be ok travelling in motorhome, which he was!
The Motorhome is a Peugeot Autocruise Starspirit which has loads of room as it is only a two berth and is very upmarket inside. I absolutely love it but having only driven an automatic car for the last 30 years or so the manual gearbox and it's size has taken a bit of getting used to. I think the Starspirit name must be taken from the absolutely huge skylight in the living/sleeping area.I have also purchased a sticker which reads " On an adventure before dementia" to stick on it somewhere
