I have been eating my elephant garlic scapes recently. I par-boiled them with some YS asparagus spears I procured. Similar size as asparagus spears and by boiling together it gave the asparagus a slight garlicky taste. Lovely when heavily salted and with a knob of butter added!
Quite pleasantly surprised as I though they may have been tough as auld boots!
