Recommended planting distances?? No chance!
I spent my day in search of a gooseberry bush, hidden in the depths of the garden. I pulled up lots of vinca, dock, lovage and lemon balm (the latter is rather nice to handle compared to the others). Eventually, I cleared enough of a path to find the gooseberry bush with lots of fat berries on it.
Not quite ripe yet but its a start. If I continue my exploration tomorrow, there's another gooseberry bush a bit further on. Hope that one is fruity too.
I deliberately put them in out of the way places as I hate being prickled!
