2024 - What I harvested today

Rhubarb (another 8oz), Rocket, a giant leek, and lovage.

Sounds like a song..........
Rhubarb and rocket
And green leeks and lovage
Wearing a coat and bright coloured mittens..........(nothing rhymes with lovage).

Fine orange carrots and big purple cabbage
A bucket of compost, dibber and strings
Veggie says these are her favourite things

Cue music and dance around raised beds in rigger boots, multicoloured mittens and hat.

When the seeds fail and the rain pings
When I'm feeling sad
I remember a few of my favourite things
Then I don't feel so bad

Tadpoles and puppies,  freebies and seedswaps
Gardens and raised beds that give all the good crops
Gossip with gardeners, the friendship this brings
