Clever little things - having a tadpole memory!Off on a tangent here but I've been reading a book by Derek Gow who has been reintroducing species that used to live in the UK - like the beaver. One of his projects was the White Stork. Apparently a newly hatched stork will regard the place where it hatches as home and return to it annually. So it would be no good to import some storks from another country because they'd just fly home again. They had to breed them in the UK for them to stay in the UK.
I bet storks like eating tadpoles and frogs too.
