We had to do that with my old Triumph Spitfire. At home we would be able to do all of that with a wet/dry vacuum cleaner and power tools etc. Over here not so easy as it's inside a garage and to just get in the car I have to climb into the back seat and sqeeze through the front seats to get to the drivers position. All in all its a perfect storm for being awkward.
Or use a pump to pump the water out and dry the rest out with towels, newspaper. Had to do that with the current car!
