2023 - What I sowed today

I've cheated and bought lots of bamboo markers (including some big ones) from Wilko and B&M. I can probably write on them in marker pen and then sand them down for next year, or add them to my compost if they don't weather well.

As well as plastic ones I like the lolly sticks from Magnum ices (others makes are available  ). As well as liking lolly choc ices, I have a pal whose husband has one every day so a supply is guaranteed. They're not much use outside as they get discoloured by the soil and lose their writing, but they're great for giveaway plants, so I can keep the big plastic ones for reuse.
