Cyclamen hederifolium and cyclamen coum are the hardy autumn and winter ones you see growing in clumps in gardens and are typically sold in individual pots. I have them in my garden and they were hard to find.
The ones sold in packs as bedding in autumn aren't as hardy and can be killed by a hard frost. Unfortunately, I reckon they're goners.
