I went to see Hawkwind perform at the City Hall Newcastle, 50 years ago when I was 18 years old. I have just booked four  tickets to see them again at the Northern Kin Festival in 2023 on my Birthday Sunday 30th April . There are lots of other rock & folk groups playing, including Wishbone Ash and Lindisfarne on that day.Its a three day festival but I am not up to camping, so have only booked the one day, which is enough for me. Smile

I let it be known to my family that I was interested in attending and offered to pay anyones entry fee for a day pass who would acompany me? Little did I know that both my sons would agree to join me along with my Son in Law. Both my Sons have never been to a festival before and are aged 43 and 34 years old!!! I'm looking forward to it, and who knows? it may be a bonding experience for us all.! Big Grin
