I made my executive decision yesterday after walking round the garden and noticing (again) how pretty the seed heads were. It grows very easily from cuttings. I potted on 7 yesterday into 3lt pots. . After a little research the best time to prune is after flowering to encourage more or winter to keep its shape. This is also a reason for choosing it. As it’ll be next to the drive it’ll need to be kept in check. I had to research that because the big one in the garden has never been pruned But it’s a lovely shape. Definitely didn’t want something that if you pruned at the wrong time or took off the wrong bits it wouldn’t flower the following year.
I’ll take some photos later.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.
