Then fry them in a frying pan, preferably cast iron, on low until cooked through. Make gravy by adding single cream to the pan when all the meatballs are done, whisk and add salt and pepper.
These days I add ginely chopped onion that I have fried in the pan before I mix it into the mince, and sometimes something to jazz it up, like a but of bbq sauce, relish or pesto. That's not traditional though
