Just had a lovely Paella with extra mussels,prawns and squid added near the end of cooking!
Decided to do a bit of baking as well, so donned my butchers apron and tried out my two NEW metal pie tins. Corned dog (sorry beef) and tatties and a nother plum and marzipan as I enjoyed the last one so much and the fillings are cheap . With the left over pastry I utilised my yorkie tin and made six little tarts,two strawberry jam,two lime marmalade and two blackcurrant jam. The blackcurrant and strawberry jam I made in 2020 and its as good as the day I made it!
2nd batch is still in the oven now, and as I am going fishing tomorrow, guess what I will be taking to eat al-fresco!
