This little beauty. my first courgette picked in 2022 and tonight, the first to be eaten.
Cooked in my favourite way, thinly sliced vertically, dipped in seasoned flour and shallow fried until brown and crispy. Served with very thin slivers of mature cheddar.
I could eat this every night of the year - hope that there'll be a few more meals like this.
