2022 - What I did today

Made it to the allotment! Cleared more of the old strawberry bed and put in some new bare roots in a nearby area. Watered(!) and mulched with manure the currants and boysenberry. Admired the buds on my cheap fruit trees from a few years back... The pear and plum are loaded with buds right now but we have a frost forecast for the coming week. Fingers crossed and at least I got to enjoy the hope for a weekend Plot neighbor/allotment secretary dug up a lovely blackberry bush from a recently vacated plot for me after we'd gone home for the day. I am so sore (December baby-having shenanigans have kept me quite inactive) but very happy to have spent a couple hours in the sunshine with my family.
