2022 - Tonight's recipe

Smoked cod and veggie fish fillets with fries and green beans. Actually the veggie version of fish fillets weren't too bad but the smoked cod was tasteless. I know the stuff you get in the shops isn'r properley  smoked and just has smoke flavouring added.  I wonder whether I could buy proper smoked cod or haddock from a wet fish shop........if i could find one?

Or search for a smoker - there surely must be one fairly near? It's ridiculously cheap if you buy a whole box which holds a couple of kilos. It freezes so well and is so versatile
