I'm going to have a peek at those recommendations.  I was wondering about the relevance of gardeners/gardening in other countries with obviously differing climates, but then remembered I thoroughly enjoyed the Australian that Veggie mentioned.

You sound just like my hubby, blonde and long legs is always a winner for him, working on a big engine  of some sorts and he's in heaven (as long as it's not Crocodile Dundee or some such)
(PS - couldn't think of any modern long legged blonde males off the top of my head   )
