Our tree will go up the Saturday before the 25th as usual. We stick lights on the tree but then the rest of the decoration wll be foliage based. We don't have children to please with sparkly stuff, and the less we have to tempt the cat the better!!
I still have a large bag of baubles and tinsel which WON'T be going back in the attic after Crimbo.
