Last night, Spud brought one of his hedgehog friends to play again - he carries it by its spikes. This time the hedgehog spiked Spud on the chin and drew blood. I hope it teaches Spud a lesson and he stops carrying them around.
I always put words in the mouths of creatures - as if they're in a storybook. I imagine the hedgehog is either grateful that he didn't have to walk all the way up to the house in his search for food, maybe he trips Spud up to attract attention and asks for a lift. On the other hand, he could be really cross because he has to walk all the way back to wherever he was found and Spud has interrupted his meal.
Its raining hard here now - we have a yellow rain warning (whatever yellow rain is - answers not required!). The ground is very wet, weeds are coming out easily, its just not pleasant being out there. I come back several inches taller with all the mud on my boots.
He went to bite one of the white horses noses through the fence until I dragged him back. The horse galloped away then turned round and headed back full pelt. Oh no, I thought it was going to clear the fence, but it screeched to a halt, spun around and farted in Kato's face.
Serves him right for working his ticket.
